Gueret
Gueret, prefecture of the Creuse department, is a town of 14,000 inhabitants and what seems to be a permanent veil of rain! The town is pleasant enough, with some rather utilitarian shopping streets, but parking can be difficult. Not far outside the town are a couple of interesting tourist attractions:
- The wolves of Chabrieres and the planetarium
- The giant labyrinth
